Simon Ramsden
Simon “Rambo” Ramsden
joined Sunderland from Newton Ayliffe in 2001. Following a loan spell at Notts County, he was part of the 1st team squad in the 2003-4 season. Simon made his one and only appearance as a substitue in an FA Cup 4th round victory at Portman Road against Ipswich in 2004. In his one appearance and 3 times on the bench, the lads won every game. How many players can claim that in their Sunderland career :=)
He moved onto Notts County in 2004 and then Rochdale in 2006. During his time at Rochdale, he was a stalwart in their defence making 112 appearances and scoring 6 goals.
In June 2009 he joined Bradford City where he currently holds down the number 2 shirt.
We are delighted to be able to display some of Simons shirts on our web site and continue to follow his career.
